The Olympian.

On the 16-th of May, the life of a young boy – JarosÅ‚aw Rola dramatically changed its course. As a result of s tragic accident, he lost both his legs. Despite the tragedy, that lively boy did not lose either faith in himself or life itself. After having seen a tv program about disabled Olympians, he realized that he wanted to become one of them. Thanks to a sport association  of disabled people called “Start” Jarek managed to find a ski – coach: Romulad Schmidt as well as an orthopedist who agreed to construct special ski – bobs for a young sportsmen. Arduous training sessions started. In the pre-olympic year . hours of different sports camps and all sorts of competition he skied 30 000 km all over Europe. At The Olympic Games for disabled people in Turyn, JarosÅ‚aw Rola took the tenth place, becoming the world leader in the area of skiing
